Oh the joys of building! 

Well that depends on who you are talking to of course. When you know exactly what you want, and you won't settle for less, it can cause some headaches along the way when building a home, but let's just stick to the fun stuff! Here I will share all the things that make up our Farmhouse. All of the decision making from floors and paint colors to the detail in the finishing touches! I had 4 years to plan this out, so believe me when I say that I had it planned down to a tee by the time we were ready to start building. 

First up, choosing the land, the floor plan, and making sure the bones of the house are good! (Thanks Maren Morris for that!) I will share with you the projects we did ourselves in the house, along with the light fixtures and other hardware we chose, to cabinets and closets. I had a lot of fun designing the layout of our cabinets and closets to fit our needs in the house.
